Cherububble

Reading and LearningTogether

Who Am I?

I come in many sizes.

I can be different colours.

I often have special markings to show you who I am.

I build my own house but not with bricks.

I spin and weave but do not sell my work.

If you wreck my home I will make a new one.

I catch my food but I am not a fisherman.

You might say my dinner comes to find me.

Some types of me are thought to be lucky.

Many people are scared of me.

Some people even scream when they see me.

In some homes I am thought to mean dust and dirt.

In other houses and gardens I am considered useful.

There are books and nursery rhymes about me.

A cartoon character carries my name.

My name has six letters.

I have eight legs.

Do you know who I am?

Read the clues and think again.

Yes, I am ___________________________

Look around you, I am never far away!
